ACAC Launches New Campaign

Homeless Youth

Allied Churches has launched a new campaign to raise funds and awareness about homelessness in Alamance County.  The new campaign addresses how homelessness affects people from all walks of life and all ages - including children.

Every day, numerous children take the bus to school from their “home” at the shelter of Allied Churches. After school they return. They have no other “home” to go to - no back yard to play in, no “after school” snack in a warm kitchen, no quiet bedroom to do their homework.  That is the reality for homeless children in Alamance County.

Until we break the cycle of poverty and homelessness, we need to rely on you, our neighbors and friends, for financial support. Today, Allied Churches provides food, shelter and resources for the needy and homeless in our community.

With your tax deductible gift we can continue to provide the services that are so desperately needed:
•  $25/month provides 1 person with 3 free, hot meals a day for a month.
•  $50/month means a safe place to stay with the basic necessities of life.
•  $100/month gives the caring and support our residents need to exit the street for 3 months.

Will you help?  Please give as generously as you are able.
