The Plates are Stacked! Thank You for Helping Reach the Goal!

We did it! Our efforts to "Stack the Plates" in preparation for the ACAC kitchen closure raised over $45,000, surpassing the goal of 15,000 plates (an average of $3 per person, per meal)! Our "Allied Community" came together to ensure that all who are hungry will be fed during the eight weeks of construction in our kitchen. Congregations, families, civic groups, and businesses pitched in to fund meals, and just three weeks into the renovation our goal was met!

Thank you to all that have contributed! Your support means that hundreds of people in need can count on ACAC for daily meals, no matter what the circumstances.

With over 15,000 plates stacked, we now look ahead to the future of ACAC's Community Kitchen. We need your time, talent, and treasure!

Donate here to provide meals during the ACAC kitchen closure and beyond, or contact us for other creative ways to get involved!

For many patrons of the ACAC Community Kitchen, the free meals provided serve to prevent homelessness. Those at poverty level in Alamance County are forced to choose which expenses will be paid from month to month.

See the difference the ACAC Community Kitchen makes for two local families.
